The modern era of music has given way to enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the norm of what we have come to expect as far as what an artist truly is. Bronze is one such artist that epitomizes the essence of growth and life’s steps into the modern era. A multi-talented Artist and Producer, born in Grand Rapids, moving to Detroit in 2002.
Bronze was picked up by RZA as a Wu Tang producer in 2002. His overarching ambition was introduced to the world in 2003 through his production on RZA’s “Birth of a Prince” album. Nazareth’s music continued to fuel the sale of hundreds-of-thousands of units and left its own indelible imprint upon hip hop, and the Wu-Tang legacy. He has ultimately developed a style of Production that is transparent, daring, and thoughtful and brings emotion, turning his time into purpose and lessons into studio sessions.
Bronze has released a variety of ground breaking albums notably the Great Migration, Wiseman Approaching, the Living Daylights and a 5th solo project “Thought for Food of Volume 3”. His recent work includes 2015’s critically acclaimed collaboration album with Canibus entitled “Time Flies, Life Dies, Phoenix Rise” which debuted at #49 and Billboards top 100 rap albums, #30 (top 100 Hip Hop & R&B) and #135 (top 200 indie albums). Bronze next landed a deal to do an official album with Ghostface Killah titled “The Ghost Files: The Bronze Tape” again hitting billboard at #64 (Rap top 100) and 89 (R&B/Hip Hop) in 2018. The year 2019 further cemented his legacy by releasing a joint project with Kxng Crooked of Slaughterhouse with the album, Gravitas.
Bronze Nazareth, in 2021 has since joined with London, UK star Leaf Dog (4 Owls). Churning out the highly regarded “Bundle Raps”, he has returned to the mic and the album is on many album of the year lists already in early 2021.
Jumping onto the roster of Mello Music Group Bronze then gave you “Season of the Seven” with Ghanian MC Recognize Ali. Next Bronze Nazareth connected with the godfather of grime – Roc Mariano for “Ekphrasis”. This album landed Bronze on many lists as best one of the best hip hop albums of 2021, while racking up millions of streams. Lastly, Bronze dropped “If You’re Worried, You Should Be”. A magnificient follow up to Ekphrasis, this project sees Bronzeman on the boards and mic, returning to his formula that worked so well on his debut Great Migration. The result – yet another album garnering critical acclaim, and commercial success. Bronze Nazareth’s star continues to rise.
